21 Jan DUKE ENERGY TO HOST PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING-JANUARY 26
Duke Energy Progress is committed to providing customers with reliable electric service. To ensure reliable service and minimize outages, it is important that we maintain trees and other vegetation along the lines that deliver electricity to your home. Duke Energy Progress will host a public information session to discuss planned tree trimming maintenance in the following areas in Morehead City:
- Maple Lane towards Bridges St., then turns left and follows Bridges Street to 16th Street.
- Neighborhoods around Mansfield Parkway, Mitchell Village and Pelletier Creek. The circuit travels along Bogue Sound (Sound Drive and Holly Lane).
- Maple Lane substation to 20th St., the feeder continues past Emeline Place, Yaupon Terrace, Calamanda Creek subdivision, past Crab Point Bay, ending near Clark Court
The workshop will feature information stations with experts available to discuss planned activities and vegetation management techniques. There is no formal presentation and citizens are welcome to stop by the event at any time. To learn more about the planned work join us:
