Community Yoga @ MHC Parks and Rec

Community Yoga Class (formerly Gentle Yoga) is offered EVERY Monday from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at a cost of $5.00 per class – No Membership or Registration Required – Mats are available as well.

Escoffier Chef Dinner Series – Chef Floyd Olmstead | 5:30pm – 8pm
The popular dinner series is back! Enjoy a four-course meal prepared by Culinary Students and top local chefs. Get a ticket for an individual dinner, or the whole series but act fast because they always sell out! Doors open at 5:30pm, Hors d’Oeuvres until 6:30pm. This is an annual event that occurs once a month during January, February, March and April. All four dinners will feature the best French Cuisine (four course-meal). This amazingly unique event supports the CCC Culinary Program. The Culinary Program is vibrantly training tomorrow’s chefs. Carteret Community College is very proud that we send 3-4 students annually to France for a month internship. During this month-long trip the students train under the best French Escoffier Chefs in the world! Chef Floyd Olmstead will be the featured chef for March 26. 3rd Annual Spring Family Festival @ Camp Albemarle

This event is a fundraiser for Nature School at Camp Albemarle. Toddler Egg Hunt at 11am and Helicopter Egg Drop sponsored by Dong’s Martial Arts – Morehead City, NC at 12:30pm. Please leave your pets at home. Only service animals permitted at event. Activities: Egg hunts | explore a firetruck and construction vehicles | visit with the Easter Bunny | music and games by Emerald Owl Productions, Inc. | play in our outdoor classroom | Bounce Houses | Carnival Games | Face Painting | Cupcake Walk | Foam Party by Emerald Owl Productions, Inc. (Participants will get wet. We recommend bringing a towel and change of clothes.) Food: Hamburgers, hotdogs, fries and drinks will be available for sale. Kona Ice of the Crystal Coast and Jitterzz Coffee Co. will have delicious treats and drinks for purchase. From Carteret Community College: Join us Saturday, March 30, 5:30-10 p.m. at Carteret Community College for Shuck, Rattle and Roll!  Come taste the freshest shellfish around produced by current and former CCC Aquaculture students.  Then settle in with a beer from the craft brew tent for some live music by 4Everall and the Embers.  Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 after March 22.  You can purchase tickets by visiting www.carteret.edu and clicking on the Shuck Rattle and Roll Banner or you can call 252-222-6143. All proceeds benefit students and programs at Carteret Community College.  If you just want to see the Embers, the band begins at 7 p.m. and we’re asking for a $15 donation at the door.  This is an event you don’t want to miss!
