BARRE FITNESS

There will be NO BARRE CLASS IN MAY.  Classes will resume June 12th-14th.  The Morehead City Parks and Recreation Department will now be offering a fitness class called Barre Fit. This program is offered Tuesdays at 5:30 PM as well as Thursdays at 10:00AM and 5:30 PM. The program costs $20 for 4 classes a month (one class per week).  If you don’t wish to sign up for the program, you can pay a $10 daily drop-in fee. Class-goers need to bring water, yoga mat or towel is optional. This class is a hybrid of Yoga, Pilates, and Ballet Flexibility and will consist of stretching/strengthening of all major muscle groups, creating lean and long muscles without bulk, and strengthening abdominal and back muscles improving balance and back pain. Morehead City Parks and Recreation Department is now offering recreational, open play corn-hole.  Corn-hole will take place on Wednesday evenings beginning March 28th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Morehead City Parks and Recreation Department (1600 Fisher Street, Morehead City, NC, 28557).
