Original Post: The Morehead City Fire-EMS Auxiliary is hosting a fundraiser ride on Saturday, October 21st to benefit a valued member of the community who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
This ride is for motorcycles, Jeeps, and antique cars. However, if you would like to ride along, feel free to attend and line up as well!
Cash or Venmo will be accepted the day of the ride with registration opening at 9 a.m. The cost is $25 a car/ $5 a rider. Advance tickets can be purchased via Venmo @mcfdshirts for $15 a car/ $5 per rider until October 20th.
The first 150 people to sign up will enjoy a provided lunch!
The ride will begin at Walmart Supercenter, 300 Highway 24, in Morehead City in the northwest corner of the parking lot by Lowe’s Home Improvement.
It will leave from there and head east on Arendell Street, making a right at Atlantic Beach exit, traveling over the bridge and making a right on West Fort Macon Road. The ride will continue the length of Highway 58 to Emerald Isle. Once traveling over the Emerald Isle Bridge, participants will take a right on Highway 24 and continue back to Morehead City, entering on the Highway 24 side of Walmart. Following the conclusion of the ride, a barbecue lunch will be held for the 150 people who registered first.
