Updated: Tropical Storm Watch

Tuesday, August 29th - 6:30 p.m. Update: Carteret County is now under a Tropical Storm Watch ahead of Hurricane Idalia.

Tuesday: August 29th - 10:30 a.m. Report: Morehead City officials are monitoring Hurricane Idalia, which is forecast to approach our area as a Tropical Storm later this week. 

Possible impacts to Morehead City include significant flash flooding and the potential for multiple tornadoes.
