The Morehead City Police Department will escort the body of U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Joshua “Caleb” Gore from the Raleigh Durham International Airport to Morehead City on Thursday, April 20. He was one of nine soldiers killed during a training exercise near Fort Campbell in Kentucky on March 29th. The escort will come along Highway 70, and anticipates turning at 35th Street on its route to Munden Funeral Home. The processional will leave RDU around 3 p.m. and will come through Morehead City that evening.

In addition to the Police Department escort, the Morehead City Fire Department and other departments will honor him along the route.
