Join the Morehead City Library for a Book Sale, Summer Reading Program Kickoff and some sunshine from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 20th!

Join the Morehead City Library for a Book Sale, Summer Reading Program Kickoff and some sunshine on Saturday, May 20th!

Visit the library at 202 S. Eighth Street from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday for the first Book Sale at the current location. Hundreds of books will be available for sale at just $1 each,  including new children’s books and vintage clothbound hardcover classics.  

In addition, Finn, the Morehead City Marlins' mascot, will be onsite to help patrons of all ages sign up for the Summer Reading Program. Show up to register in person to receive a goodie bag and have a photo opportunity with Finn. 

Registration for the Summer Reading Challenge is free, but books will be sold for cash only. Proceeds go to buying new books for the library collection. Please bring your own bag to carry all of your book purchases.
