MHCL Youth Advisory Board - Youth Writers Workshop

The YAB (Youth Advisory Board) consists of a group of young people in grades 6 through 12 who are interested in volunteering and taking an active role in determining services and programs at the public library. Meet at the MHCL Makerspace
June 1st: As part of our MHCL "Find Your Voice" Summer Reading Program, the Youth Advisory Board will host a Youth Writing Workshop featuring local writing enthusiasts and Carteret County Librarians, Megan Soult & Tara McKamey.  Megan and Tara will lead a session to help kick start some creative minds this summer.  Come join us and "Find Your Voice!"  We will have writing materials available, but feel free to bring your favorite notebooks as well as any fun character/story ideas.  Don't worry, if you are coming up blank, we can brainstorm!
