Morehead City Parks and Recreation Partners with Carteret County Parks and Recreation Department to offer the Crystal Coast Basketball League.  Cost is $50 per child. Youth Basketball Camp

Morehead City Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a basketball camp this October!  Cost is $50 per player and will be held at Morehead City Recreation Center, located at 1600 Fisher Street, Morehead City, NC, 28557.

Boys ages 12-14: October 10th, 12th and 14th from 5:00-7:00PM

Girls ages 12-14: October 17th, 19th, and 21st from 5:00-7:00PM

Basketball camp fall 22

Women's Community Tennis

Youth Beach Volleyball

The league will offer an exciting volleyball experience with an emphasis on fun, skill development, tactics and competition. Concentration will be placed on establishing basic skills such as setting, passing and defense in a beach environment. The league will be divided by age for girls so the content of the league as well as the intensity will be structured to meet the varying needs of the different participants. Practice Starts September 5th on Monday and Wednesday.  Matches Start September 19th on Monday and Wednesday.  Registration is now open. Help Morehead City Parks and Recreation Department continue to offer a wide variety of community sports and programs by volunteering! Basketball for Persons with Disabilities

We are excited to offer basketball on Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the Morehead City Parks and Recreation Center for anyone with disabilities.  This is open to all ages with a focus on learning basic basketball skills while doing fun drills and light conditioning.  Recreation Center pass is required. Flag Football League

Morehead City Parks and Recreation Department will be offering flag football at the Recreation Center (1600 Fisher Street) in September.  Registration opens on August 1st.  

  • Ages 6-8, 9-11 co-ed
  • $65/player
  • Practices will be held Tuesday/Thursday beginning September 6th
  • Games begin Tuesday/Thursday week of October 3rd.

Open Play Basketball

Morehead City Parks and Recreation Department offers Open-Play Basketball on Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:00-2:00 PM.  All participants must purchase an annual pass.  Click here for more information. 

Open Play Pickleball

Morehead City Parks and Recreation Department offers open-play pickleball on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:00am-11:00am.  All participants must have a day pass or an annual pass.  Please call 252-726-5083 ext. 1 for more information.
