11th Annual Flounder Surf Fishing Tournament

2017 Flounder Fishing tournament kicks off the surf-fishing and beach driving season that starts September 15th.  The tournament runs from 8:00 a.m. Saturday, September 16th until 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 30th.  The Reel Outdoors will be providing prizes for the top three anglers.  For more information visit www.emeraldisle-nc.org

Behind the Scenes: Feeding Frenzy @ NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores
Sep 16 @ 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm

Not only will participants visit animal holding areas, labs and food preparation areas, but they’ll get a chance to help feed the fish in Living Shipwreck, the largest habitat at the aquarium.  Ages 5 and up.

Come enjoy Jefferson Ross, a songwriter, singer, guitar slinger, and painter, weave stories for the ears and the eyes.  His art is inspired by the sights, sounds, flavors and texture of the American South. Whether portraying a Delta blues master, hillbilly yodeler, Carolina mountain vista or Georgia coast sunset, his work features the rough-hewn, ragged edges of Dixie itself.
